Opening new doors with great design.

We helped CLE Door look as great as their work with design for business cards, branded apparel and more to help elevate the brand and speak to their target market.

CLE Door saw opportunities closing before them.

An established business, they were ready to scale but knew their branding and overall brand presence didn’t connect with their customer as well as they wanted it to.

Their public-facing print materials were lackluster at best and did not have the young energy the partners and their installers exuded, and they wanted to convey that to their potential customers quickly. They also wanted to lean on the fact that they are Cleveland-proud, as many of their competitors are larger corporations based out of state.

They knew that once they installed a new garage door in a neighborhood, other neighbors would get “door envy” and wonder who did the work.

We gave CLE Door a branding facelift that helped position them as different than the competition - a modern, energetic, and well-polished company with deep roots in the communities they serve.

We worked directly with the partners to develop a strategy of print materials that were eye-catching and quickly conveyed a sense of youthful energy, modern design, and professionalism to their potential clients — young professional homeowners in the greater Cleveland, Ohio area.

The new look was a bold contrast from their competitors (their competition were typically hold-overs from a bygone era, turning off many younger buyers with outdated marketing materials, high-pressure sales tactics, dated finish options.)

Our team designed and printed several runs of yard signs that installers would place in each customer’s yard. We created a bright-orange design with a subtle image of the football field at First Energy Stadium. The bright design, paired with an oversized scale and vertical orientation, made for a yard sign you can’t miss as you’re driving past.

We also carried the design through to several sets of business cards for the principal partners, in a vertical format and modern design. The brightly-colored cards reinforced the yard signs their potential customers saw around the neighborhood, which further entrenched their brand.

To round out their brand extension package, we also designed and printed vehicle graphics and even branded apparel so that everyone from the estimators to installers reinforced their branding. Their logowear included everything from tee shirts to hats, golf shirts, and even 3-in-1 jackets (perfect for the quickly-changing lake-effect weather).

No detail left behind, we even designed and printed a matching decals the installers would make sure to adhere to each install or repair so customers knew just how to reach out when they needed them.

The entire brand refresh and brand extension helped elevate CLE Door and position them as the go-to choice for young professional homeowners.
